Sweet, Sweet Summertime Peach Blueberry Pie
It’s summertime! With the weather getting warmer, and long days at the pool, I was getting a hankering for peach blueberry pie. Nothing says summer like pie and BBQ 🙂

Peach & Blueberry Pie
Total cooking time: 1 hr 20mins
Serves: 5-6
Ingredients
• Butter crust (if using store-bought, bring to room temp before baking)
• 3-4 med sized peaches, peeled and sliced evenly
• 1 pint blueberries, rinsed
• 1 C flour
• 1 ½ C sugar
• 1 tbs nutmeg
• 1 egg
• Pinch of cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375℉
- While the oven is preheating, place peaches in a pot of water and bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat, blanch, and set aside (helps stop peaches from overcooking). Peel the peaches and slice them into even pieces. Place peaches in a large bowl.
- Add blueberries, sugar, flour, and nutmeg to peaches. Stir to coat.
- When the oven is ready, roll ½ of your pie crust into your pie plate (i like to use a deep one to avoid any juice bubbling over). Add fruit mixture to crust and top with remaining crust.
- Mix egg and cinnamon, and brush your crust with the mixture.
- Please in oven for 45-60 mins, or until bubbly and crust is brown. Remove from oven, and let cool before serving!
