Maryland Lover’s Honey Old Bay Wings
I don’t want to oversell it on these wings, but they are probably the best football apps I’ve ever made. I am so pleased with how these turned out – between the sauce and the juiciness of the chicken – they are perfect and will make you the hero of any tailgate.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb chicken drummettes, drums and flats separated
- ½ c honey
- 1 tbs italian seasoning
- 1 Old Bay
- 2 tbs butter, melted
- Ranch for dipping
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Separate your chicken drummettes into drums and flats, and evenly coat with ½ c of Old Bay. Place on a greased cookie sheet, and bake for 20 mins, flipping ½ way.

- While the chicken wings are cooking, whisk your melted butter, honey, italian seasoning and ½ c of Old Bay together and set aside.
- Remove your wings from the oven, and place them on a wire rack on top of the cookie sheet. Let cool for 2 mins before pouring your sauce mixture over the wings. Serve immediately!
